About NGPA

An alliance, not an agenda.

We're a non-partisan alliance of young professionals, by young professionals, building a place where the next generation of Walworth County actually wants to show up.

Our mission

Foster culture, community, and connection by bringing together professionals committed to actionable growth, leadership, and making a positive impact in Walworth County, Wisconsin.

We exist to be the room — and the network — where young professionals meet each other, get involved in the community, and lead from where they are. The work doesn't wait for someone to be older or more credentialed. It needs people who'll show up.

Non-partisan by design.

NGPA stays non-partisan and non-political in everything we do. We don't endorse candidates, parties, or ballot initiatives — and we don't permit our platform, events, or communications to be used for personal political agendas. The reason is simple: the work we want to do for Walworth County only happens when everyone can sit at the same table.

The Three C's

Culture · Community · Connection.

Three pillars, three standing committees. Every initiative we take on traces back to one of these.

1

Culture

The Culture Committee fosters organizational values and member experience. It explores quality-of-life issues affecting young professionals — including affordable housing, diversity, and inclusion — and ensures NGPA stays a place people actually want to be.

2

Community

The Community Outreach Committee channels NGPA into the work that keeps Walworth County and its surrounding areas moving — volunteerism, partnerships with local nonprofits, and initiatives around housing and local development.

3

Connection

The Connection Committee builds the rooms where NGPA meets — events, mixers, working sessions, and the casual gatherings where the next generation of leaders here actually get to know each other.

How we're organized

An eight-person board, plus a seat for the future.

NGPA is governed by an eight-member Board of Directors and a non-voting High School Student Representative. The Big Three — CEO, CFO, COO — make up the executive leadership and serve staggered two-year terms.

The Big Three

CEO, CFO, and COO. Staggered two-year terms — never more than two of the three turn over in the same year. Between scheduled meetings, any two of the three can act on time-sensitive matters together.

Four Directors

Elected to one-year renewable terms. Each Director helps steer one of the standing committees and brings their own slice of Walworth County to the table.

Student Representative

One non-voting High School Student Representative, by design. The "next generation" gets a seat in the room before they're old enough to vote on it.
